Alright, so I need to mention something here, and I’d rather just say it straight instead of burying it somewhere nobody scrolls to.
Some posts on Digiexpertise might have affiliate links in them at some point. Maybe not right now, but down the road, probably yeah. And look, I get it — the moment people hear “affiliate link” they kind of assume the worst, like the whole post was written just to sell them something. So let me actually explain what this means instead of just throwing legal words at you.
So What’s an Affiliate Link Anyway?
It’s basically just a normal-looking link, except if you click it and buy whatever’s on the other end, I get a small cut. That’s it. You don’t pay more — literally the same price you’d pay anyway. It’s just the store or brand saying thanks for sending someone their way.
It Doesn’t Cost You Anything
Worth repeating this part because people get confused about it a lot — clicking my link never adds anything to your bill. Same product, same price, whether you use my link or not.
Am I Just Saying Things Are Good Because of Money?
No. I’m not going to tell you some phone is amazing just because there’s a commission attached to it. That’s such a cheap way to run a blog, and honestly, people can tell when you’re faking enthusiasm about a product. If I recommend something, it’s because I’d genuinely tell a friend the same thing, commission or not.
Trust Matters More to Me Than a Commission
I’d rather have ten readers who trust what I write than a hundred who click a link once and never come back because I recommended junk.
Where This Might Show Up
You’ll probably only see this kind of link in tech-related posts — like if I’m talking about a phone or a gadget worth grabbing. I’m not stuffing links into every random article just because I technically could. If it shows up, it’ll be because it’s actually relevant.
You Don’t Have to Click Anything
Ever. If you’d rather just search the product yourself, totally fine, no hard feelings. The link’s there if it’s convenient for you, not because I’m expecting anything from you.
Why I’m Telling You This
I just wanted this out in the open instead of hidden somewhere in tiny grey text at the bottom of a page. If something feels off about a link or recommendation on here, just ask me. Seriously.
